Iraq Oil Ministry signs deal with Azerbaijani company for drilling and oil services

SOCAR, an Azerbaijani company, is awarded a contract by Iraq’s oil ministry to provide drilling and oil services. Basim Abdel Karim, the company’s general manager, noted in a statement that the contract includes drilling and reclaiming oil wells, noting that the contract is for three years, but may be extended.
